The Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors is expected today to schedule several public hearings on easement abandonments.

The hearings would accept comments regarding a petition to abandon 16 feet of utility easements at 4101 Central Place and in Wooten’s Subdivision, and 40 feet of dedicated, unimproved right of way on Miles Street.

The board is also expected to adopt a resolution rescheduling a block party, and authorize an agreement with Texarkana Housing Authority to add a third patrol officer.
