Head Start program to begin registration

Community Services of Northeast Texas is holding Head Start fall registration from Monday through Thursday at 810 Capp St. in Texarkana, Texas.

Classes begin Aug. 25.

The community service Head Start is a federally funded, full-day, nonprofit program for 4-year-olds. Three-year-olds will be accepted for limited enrollment.

Head Start officials encourage parents to bring children who will be 3 and 4 by Sept. 1. Children are selected based on income, age, individual and family needs.
