Body of Texas woman sent for autopsy; police investigating
The body of a Malta, Texas, woman was sent for an autopsy after she died alone sometime Sunday, said Bowie County Chief Deputy Larry Parker.
The woman lived on County Road 3103, according to initial reports. Her name was not released. “We are not working this as a homicide or suspicious death,” said Parker. “She had medical problems.” The woman’s sister discovered her dead about 6:30 p.m. Sunday and police were called.
