It was brief action for the Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors Monday night, as the consent agenda was approved unanimously.

The action approved setting public hearings on abandonments of three utility easements and rights of way. The board also approved a block party and an agreement with Texarkana Housing Authority for an additional patrol officer.

Members also got a chance to ask questions of two representatives of a Dallas survey company that will conduct a feasibility study in Texarkana.
