A former Queen City, Texas, preacher who allegedly fathered the child of a teen girl will face a jury in a Bowie County courtroom early next month.

Willie Fae Arnold, 61, appeared before 5th District Judge Ralph Burgess Monday afternoon with his attorney, Charles Friday of the Texarkana firm Dunn, Nutter and Morgan.

“I believe we’ve come to a pretty firm trial setting for the week of June the third,” said Friday. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Kristian Young.
