Provider Pals teach kids about natural resources

North Heights Junior High School students probably know a lot about fast food, the Internet, video games and shopping malls.

But many may not know how the natural resources they use every day get into their homes or city.

That’s where Provider Pals of Libby, Mont., comes in.

“We’re one of the most consumptive societies of our times. We want the urban student to know where their resources came from and meet the people who are providing it for them,” said Chas Vincent, provider coordinator and Provider Pals camp director.
