The Texarkana, Texas, City Council unanimously approved entering an agreement on Monday that will settle a lawsuit brought by several cities alleging overcharging for public water.

The seven member cities—Avery, Annona, New Boston, Wake Village, Maud, Hooks and DeKalb—have been legally embroiled with Texarkana, Texas, and Texarkana Water Utilities for more than five years.
