The Caddo Area Council Boy Scouts will have its 18th annual Scouting Benefit Auction beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday at Camp Preston Hunt.

The camp is east of Texarkana off U.S. Highway 82 on Tennessee Road. The gate opens at 8 a.m.

The auction raises funds for camperships for Scouts in need, said Karl Boroski, Longhorn District executive and auction adviser. The auction also helps underwrite the cost of other programs for Scouts in need of financial assistance.
