Stamping Out HungerLetter carriers ask public to take part in annual food drive; food will be picked up Saturday

Reminder cards will be in area residents’ mail today and food will be picked up Saturday. Letter carriers will deliver about 300,000 food drive mailing inserts to area residents today and will pick up food on Saturday as they deliver the mail. Rural letter carriers are also participating in the food drive. “We strongly urge all of our citizens to join efforts to end hunger in the city ... and make a contribution,” Texarkana, Ark.
