LEARY, Texas—The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a two-vehicle accident Wednesday that sent one woman to a local hospital.

The accident happened at 2:21 p.m. on Farm to Market Road 1398 north of Interstate 30 in Leary.

According to DPS investigators, June Harmon, 63, of Hooks was driving a white Buick northbound on FM 1398 when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a Chevrolet Prism head-on.

The Chevrolet was driven by Paula Murphy of Hooks. Her age was unavailable.

Murphy was taken by ambulance to a Texarkana hospital...
