Father, son crash land plane at Hope airport

No one was injured in the accident

HOPE, Ark.—A twin-engine airplane with duct tape across the bottom of the front windshield crashed Thursday morning near the north end of Hope Municipal Airport. No one was seriously hurt.

The aircraft was piloted by Marvin McWhorter Sr. and co-piloted by his son Marvin McWhorter Jr., both of Camden, Tenn., said Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Frank McJunkins.

The crash was reported at 10:26 a.m. Thursday.
