A former teacher has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for violating the conditions of his probation for sexual assault and failing to register as a sex offender.

Miller County Circuit Judge Kirk Johnson sentenced Timothy Sandor, 40, on Tuesday after Sandor told Johnson the allegations in the motion to revoke his probation were true.

Sandor’s sentence includes five years for failing to comply with sex offender registration laws after entering a plea of guilty to the charge. The two sentences will be served at the same time.
