Citizens of Hooks, Texas, have two candidates to choose from when they vote for mayor Saturday.

Sammy Moulton, a former member of the Hooks City Council, is running against incumbent Mayor Michael Babb.

Babb, who brings 10 years’ experience to the race, is serving his second term. He previously served as mayor for six years before stepping out of politics for about four years for health reasons.
