A concert featuring some of the area’s most sought-after gospel performers will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 121 Roosevelt St., Hooks, Texas.

Featured at the event will be Mike Powell of Texarkana, The Ganns of Longview, Texas, His Grace of Ashdown, Ark., and Becky Braun of Avery, Texas.

All the performers are members of the 4-States Gospel Music Association and have performed at the church on previous occasions.

“They are back again by popular demand,” said Terry Arendt, spokesman for the event.
