Texarkana, Ark., resident Jack Sanders recently found a way to use his wood-cutting talent to honor the country’s fallen service men and women.

During a brief ceremony Thursday, Sanders presented to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4562 a wooden collage portrait he made of four men who died serving their country in Iraq.

The collage portrait, which Sanders calls “Fallen Heroes,” includes the image of Richard J. Henkes from Ashdown, Ark. The other three are of Marc A. Lee of Oregon, Randal “Randy” L. Johnson of Florida and Joseph R. Berlin Jr. of Colorado.
