Texarkana Regional Airport Director Stephen Luebbert is asking the Texarkana, Texas, City Council to appoint former Texas-side Mayor John M. Jarvis to the airport’s authority board.

In a letter issued last week to Texas-side Mayor James Bramlett, Luebbert made the request on behalf of authority board chairman Bonnie Moreland.

If appointed, Jarvis, will replace board member Mike Mayo, whose term expires June 30.
