Texarkana, Texas, will have the opportunity to witness a U.S. House of Representative Science and Technology Committee field hearing Monday at Martha and Josh Morriss Mathematics and Engineering Elementary School.

The field is set for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m and the public is encouraged to attend.

The subject is science, technology, engineering and math education, specifically focusing on efforts to engage students in those subject at an early age.
