Citizens of Hooks, Texas made their decision Saturday at the polls when they cast 303 votes for mayor.

Incumbent Mayor Michael Babb won the election with 159 votes while Sammy Moulton, a former member of the Hooks City Council grabbed 144 votes. Babb will continue in his post for another two years.

The City received 90 votes during early voting, while the remaining votes were cast in yesterday’s election held at the gymnasium at Hooks High School.
