A public survey to determine the need for a convention center in Texarkana, Ark., is expected to be ready this week.

The survey, which will be administered through the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce, is part of a feasibility study. It will involve groups and organizations that would use the facility to determine what size the center should be.

“Partners in Development, the hospitality consultants, will analyze the data and help determine the size, scope and overall potential for the new facility,” said chamber president Jeff Sandford.
