A passer-by discovered the body of a 42-year-old Texas-side man Saturday in a city drainage ditch, according to a statement from the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department.

Initial autopsy results indicated that Jason Harmon died from the fall into the drainage ditch. Harmon was discovered at 3:24 p.m. Saturday. The passer-by called 911 and police went to the 4200 block of Wood Street, according to TTPD.

The investigation is ongoing.
