Texarkana man pleads not guilty to burglary and forgery counts
A Texarkana man who abused the trust of the elderly woman he worked for as caretaker of her property entered pleas of not guilty May 5 to three counts of burglary and four counts of forgery.
“I had a staph infection in my brain at the time,” said Ted Vaughn Turner Jr. “I basically forgot last year.” Fifth District Judge Ralph Burgess entered pleas of not guilty to all the charges on Turner’s behalf.
