An 18-year-old Hooks, Texas, woman was taken to a Texarkana hospital after a two-vehicle accident at 8:30 p.m. Monday near the 212-mile marker of eastbound Interstate 30. Shawna Royal was taken by LifeNet Ambulance Service to CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System with injuries that were not life-threatening, said Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Steve Munger.

Royal’s brown Camry became wedged under a semi-trailer after veering into the truck’s lane, said Munger, who investigated the accident.
