Answering a plea for help, Bowie County Sheriff James Prince arrested his brother last week for possession of methamphetamine.

Since then, the sheriff has been instrumental in helping his brother get off of the drug.

“He did this to help his brother to try and get help,” Bowie County Chief Deptuty Larry Parker said. “He stood up and took action on what he thought was necessary.”
