Two Miller County detainees being held for Immigration and Naturalization Service attempted suicide Sunday night, but previous mental illness played a factor in both, officials said.

“The inmates had previous mental problems and was already on suicide watch. The nurse was here,” said Miller County Warden Janice Nicholson.
