Gavin Williams of Texarkana, Texas, will be among 500 students from around the world attending a meeting and series of lectures given by Nobel laureates in Lindau, Germany, this summer.

“The meeting I will be attending is on physics. I wanted to branch out from chemistry and learn about what sort of research is under way in physics. In small group meetings with other students, I will be able to broaden the scope of my knowledge,” Williams said.

The 58th Meeting of Nobel Laureates is scheduled for June 29-July 4.
