The public is invited to enjoy a short stack for a tall cause during the Pancakes for Prom event from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at Applebee’s, 5110 Summerhill Road.

Proceeds benefit next year’s Texas High School prom.

Pancakes for Prom offers all-you-can-eat pancakes and a drink for $5 per person. Tickets are on sale now from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. through Friday in the Texas High School Cafeteria, 4001 Summerhill Road, or can be purchased at the door on the day of the event.
