NASA engineers visit Liberty-Eylau students, hoping to inspire students to be future leaders of space travel

Two NASA aeronautical engineers gave Liberty-Eylau Independent School District students a glimpse Thursday into the future of human space travel.

“We want you to grow up to be scientists and engineers. I need someone to take my job,” said Terry Hill, space suit system engineering project manager at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. “We need someone to take us to Mars. I’ll be retired by the time we go to Mars.”
