Church to host vacation Bible school workshop

St. James Missionary Baptist Church will host a vacation Bible school workshop from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The activity, sponsored by Urban Ministries Inc., is free to all teachers or directors of area churches and is designed to introduce the upcoming season’s vacation Bible school program, “Chosen Champions for Jesus.”

Free starter kits will be given to each church in attendance and additional materials will be available for purchase.

Refreshments will be provided.

The church is at 1615 Delaware St.
