Five-month trek across the U.S. stays the night in Four States Fairgrounds

This year marks the 30th year for the original Longest Walk

Four States Fairgrounds became the overnight resting place for participants in The Longest Walk 2, a 4,400-mile, five-month trek across America.

The walk began on Feb. 11 in San Francisco and will end on July 11 in Washington, D.C.

Their mission says it all. “We walk with the message: All Life Is Sacred, Save Mother Earth.” Each walker holds the goal to clean up America and promote harmony in the environment.
