Ancient Caddo Indians will be discussed at 1 p.m. Saturday during a program at the Cossatot River State Park near Wickes, Ark.

The free program, which will take place in the visitor’s center, will be presented by Amanda Brock, a member of the Archeological Survey at Henderson State University.

At 10 a.m. Sunday, the park will host a program on “wildflowers galore.” The wildflowers discussed will be those that are unique to the area and the Ouachita Mountains. Those attending are encouraged to bring a lunch. The session will start at the visitor center.
