The American Cancer Society Relay for Life will take place from 6 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Saturday at the Four States Fairgrounds.

The theme for this year’s walk is “Cruising for the Cure.”

The event, which will kick off with a survivor ceremony, has the dual purpose of raising awareness and money for research and education.

Organizers hope to raise at least $53,000 with the relay.
