Oak Grove Baptist Church will host a women’s day program at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at 702 Walker Lane, Queen City, Texas.

The theme and focus of the event is on “Fulfilling God’s Plan in Our Lives” and features Dr. H.D. Gatewood, president of the National Baptist Women’s Auxiliary-USA as the guest speaker.

“When she is speaking, she has a way of making you sit up and take notice. She definitely has your full attention,” said Florence Stanmore, church clerk. “We are very excited about her being here and we have had great response from people in the community about her speaking...
