SCHOLARSHIPS

Marshall Pope, a senior at Texas High School, was recently awarded a Ouachita Collegiate Award and a Band Scholarship to Ouachita Baptist University at Arkadelphia, Ark. Pope is the son of Curt and Dana Pope of Texarkana.

 

Texas High School sophomore, John Melde, was recently selected as the recipient of the Walter Hurst Sophomore of the Year from the Texas-Oklahoma Kiwanis Foundation and was presented with the honor and a $600 scholarship, during a Kiwanis Club of Texarkana weekly meeting.
