Bond refinancing is expected to draw discussion during tonight’s Board of Directors meeting in Texarkana, Ark.

City Manager Harold Boldt said the city wants to make the move to loosen up cash flow and move forward with development along Interstate 30.

“We’re taking advantage of interest rates and refinancing our outstanding franchise fee bond issues,” he said. “It’s pretty common. It will generate enough money for us to do some things that need to be done.”
