Honoring fallen heroes who gave their lives for America and its freedoms will be the centerpiece of upcoming Memorial Day services.

The Texarkana Area Veterans Council will hold its annual Memorial Day Services during three events over two days.

The first service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at East Memorial Gardens on U.S. Highway 67.
