Local victims of severe storms, tornadoes and flooding from March 18-April 28 can seek assistance at a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center opening today.

The center will be housed at College Hill Neighborhood Center, 1002 Ferguson St. in Texarkana, Ark., through May 31.

It will be closed Memorial Day, but otherwise will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
