The pets of the week are a gray female calico cat in cage C27 and a black, gray and white, blue-eyed Siberian husky in kennel D21.

The Texarkana Animal Shelter has 48 dogs, 20 puppies, 30 cats and 50 kittens for adoption, said a shelter official. Ten dogs, seven cats and one donkey were adopted in the past week.
