The Texarkana Regional Airport Authority Board will meet at 8 a.m. today inside the Airport Administration Building to get an update on the emergency access road project.

The spring weather is allowing work crews to continue building the road leading to East Ninth Street from the airport’s south side.

The project should be completed late next month, weather permitting. Airport officials say wet weather during the first part of this year delayed the project’s completion.
