Flooding has closed 46 campsites at the Jefferson Ridge Campground at Dierks Lake for the Memorial Day weekend.

The Corps of Engineers announced the closings Wednesday.

Campers with reservations on closed sites will receive a full refund automatically from the “Reserve America Reservation Service,” said Tammy Moody, spokesman.

The campsites should reopen June 2.

Horseshoe Bend Campground is open with 11 basic sites with no water and electricity, fishing, a swim beach, playground, picnic shelter and flush toilets.
