Leadership Texarkana recently announced the winners of the Wilbur Smith Award and the Ida Lee Hawkins Award.

The Wilbur Smith Award is given in three categories including Oustanding Adult, Outstanding Youth and Exceptional Business.

“The three awards are given ... to those who made a difference in the quality of life for either for them or their neighbors in the past year. The Wilbur Awards are sponsored by leadership Texarkana,” said Amy Huddleston, awards chairman.
