Jefferson, Texas, will be the home of this year’s Agape Fest Thursday through May 31.

The annual event features special appearances by Allen Frizzell and Joanne Cash and other performers, as well as a talent competition, awards presentation, professional workshops and other festivities.

The workshops, designed to help performers improve their ministry, begin at 9 a.m. all three days of the event and feature such topics as songwriting, ministry of music, vocal coaching, stage presence and more.
