Two Ashdown, Ark., City Council members were re-elected and a third councilman was defeated during the Party Primary election Tuesday.

In the Ashdown Alderman Ward 1, Position 1, Joni Harris defeated incumbent council member Glen Ray Bowman. Harris had 237 votes while Bowman had 190 votes.

In the Ashdown Ward 1, Position 2, incumbent Doke Douglas won re-election by a margin of 224-204 over challenger Johnnie Estes.

In the Ashdown Ward 2, Position 1, Darren Adkison won re-election over Antoine Potts, 133-103.
