Honoring fallen heroes who gave their lives for America and its freedoms will be the centerpiece of upcoming Memorial Day services.

The Texarkana Area Veterans Council will have three events over two days.

The first will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at East Memorial Gardens on U.S. Highway 67 East.
