Fish deaths remain a mysteryStrange occurrence appears to be over; no other dead fish found

The Texas Commission on Environment Quality and the EPA performed tests on the lake and dead fish, but the tests results did not reveal a definite conclusion. Texas Parks & Wildlife biologist Adam Whisenant of Tyler tested the lake after hundreds of shad, bass and panfish were found floating lifeless in the lake last month. “They never came back with a conclusive report of anything,” Robertson said. “I think they’re a little bit mystified.
