U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., will honor veterans and community leaders Wednesday in Texarkana, Ark., during her “Veterans and Citizen Soldiers Tour.”

Lincoln will meet with members of the National Guard and their families and veterans to discuss the need to improve health care and veteran services.

The event will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at American Legion Post 25-58, 525 E. Broad.
