Crowd gathers in remembrance

Memorial Day services presented by the American Legion 25-58 and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 278 were an honor to the memories of those who gave their lives in service.

The 11 a.m. service on Monday was presented by the American Legion 25-58 at the Miller County Courthouse and was garnished by the lovely singing voice of Amy Freedman who performed the “The Star Spangled Banner” and “God Bless America.”

Guest speaker for the morning service was Dr. Jerry Creek, a retired lieutenant colonel.
