Every chair was filled for Memorial Day services that included music, a balloon release and a guest speaker.

About 250 attended the services held at Hillcrest Memorial Park where several military vehicles were on display Monday for the 1 p.m. service.

“It was very good,” said Paula McKamie of Hooks who attended with her husband, Matthew McKamie, and their twin 3-year-old sons Shawn and Shane.

“They (sons) liked the gun salute. Since their dad is in the military, they’re into all that,” said Paula McKamie.
