No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday involving a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper near the intersection of U.S. Highway 67 and Payton Lane.

The collision occurred about 3:27 p.m.

Trooper Steve Munger, driving his DPS cruiser, and Larry Coleman of Maud, Texas, driving a red Toyota Tacoma pickup collided, DPS officials said.

No conclusions about how the accident occurred were reported at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation, said Trooper Chris Barker.
