A personal water craft has been impounded as the investigation into a weekend hit and run accident on Wright Patman Lake continues.

“It was not damaged before Saturday and was damaged after Saturday,” said Texas Game Warden Shawn Hervey. “We still do not know who was riding it. The investigation is still open and ongoing.”

Lisa Downs, 35, of Wake Village, was driving a personal water craft near the North Shore swimming area Saturday when an unknown man riding a red and white personal water craft crashed into her, according to Gazette reports.
