Animal cruelty case on hold after lawyer is no-show
Jury selection slated to begin Tuesday morning in Miller County for a man charged with 12 counts of animal cruelty could not proceed because the man’s defense attorney did not come to court.
Harles Fultz was scheduled for a second trial in connection with allegations he neglected and starved horses and mules living on his property. Ten horses and two mules were seized from Fultz in February 2007. He first was tried in February 2008 but jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
